Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

Build and optimize machine learning models for risk assessment, entity matching, and document analysis. Work on NLP pipelines that process compliance documents across multiple languages.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement ML models for entity matching, risk scoring, and document classification
• Build and optimize NLP pipelines for multilingual compliance document analysis
• Collaborate with compliance analysts to improve model accuracy and reduce false positives
• Develop training data pipelines and model evaluation frameworks
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in ML/AI engineering
• Strong background in NLP, particularly named entity recognition and document classification
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience with production ML systems at scale
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, compliance, or regulatory technology
• Knowledge of sanctions screening or AML systems
• Experience with LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
